imagineCALGARY Committee Updates

imagineCALGARY’s Partner Committees are focused on achieving the targets in the imagineCALGARY Plan. Recent developments include:

Communications and Awareness
The Communications and Awareness Committee continues to gather stories for the imagineCALGARY e-news regularly. As a result of the All Partner Meeting in March, the Committee is now developing a communication toolkit for Partners to use to assist them with sharing information about imagineCALGARY, both within their organizations and for other organizations with whom they collaborate. Look for this toolkit to roll out in the early fall of 2010.

imagineCALGARY is also now on Twitter! Follow us at www.twitter.com/imagineCALGARY to find out the latest news about imagineCALGARY events, opportunities to get involved and stories about what our Partners are up to.

In addition, a new set of imagineCALGARY TV interviews with Partners will be filmed in May and June. You can look for these in the coming weeks on our website at: www.imagineCALGARY.ca.

Collaborative Action
The Collaborative Action Committee has been focusing on working with the feedback received from Partners at the All Partner Meeting this March. Much progress is being made in working with students from Partner organizations – click here to learn more.

Steering Committee
The primary activities of the Steering Committee during February, March and April concentrated on planning initiatives.

Through one teleconference session and two in-person meetings, the Committee dealt with the following matters:

•	details for the 2010 Steering Committee Work Plan with particular focus on recruitment and engagement for the Partnership – as well as milestones and deliverables regarding indicators of success (reflecting recommendations made by the Steering Committee 2009 Action Teams)
•	recommendations for the March 24th All-Partners session held at Fish Creek Library, as well as a review of commitments and notes from that session
•	review of the imagineCALGARY 2009 Partner Survey with recommendations for the 2010 Partner Survey
•	update of the terms of reference for the Steering Committee
